Under construction …

I am 30 years old from Denmark.
Music and sound have always been a central part of my life.
After graduating high school in 2015, I began my musical journey as a guitarist in a professional band. This experience introduced me to the many elements of music, which became the foundation of my career.

My journey with CABAL

From 2015 to 2022, I had the privilege of playing guitar for CABAL, a professional metal band known for its crushing soundscapes and unrelenting energy. My experience with them not only honed my skills as a guitarist but also shaped my understanding of working with professional musicians, sound design, production, and the intricacies of crafting impactful music.

CABAL x Lifesick – Tour Vlog

During my time with CABAL, I had the opportunity to remix several of our tracks, reimagining them using individual stems to craft dynamic reinterpretations while staying true to the band’s signature intensity. Beyond sound design, I also contributed to the visual side by assisting in editing tour vlogs, including the one above.
These experiences allowed me to merge audio and visual storytelling.

Experience & Contribution

In 2016, I helped create soundtracks for the movie “I Work Alone” produced by N. Christensen.

Recent Sonic College cases:

Here I will showcase projects I have worked on during my time
studying sound design at Sonic College, UC Syd.

Recording Studio – Exam Project

This was our first exam at Sonic College. The goal was to produce a track while getting hands-on experience with the recording studio, outboard gear, and different mic’ing techniques (including recording “gang” vocals in the big live room).

Since I’m a bit of a memory hoarder, I made a short 1-minute video to capture the experience.

Slapstick – Sound Design

The task was to create an individual sound design for this shortfilm, focusing on the sounds of objects being shot into the air and falling back down.
The main goal was to make the sounds humorous and design them as a modern take on classic slapstick effects.

Blue Velvet – Sound Design

The task was to create a sound design for a scene from Blue Velvet, working with both realistic and non-realistic layers.

I aimed to build a natural atmosphere with mysterious, creepy undertones by using crows and ravens. Their calls gradually intensify and move closer in the stereo field, creating rising tension and unease as the scene develops.

Robinson – Podcast editing & SFX

For this task I edited and designed sound around a man’s story about his Robinson experience, aiming to give it a humorous twist. I drew on what we learned in class: cutting interviews down to the most engaging moments, using pauses for timing, shaping the dramaturgy, and layering sound design to support the story.

Sound design – For logos & brands

The task was to design a sonic logo for The Brain Prize based on brand analysis and creative interpretation. I combined what I had learned in class with my own intuition, balancing theory, brand values, and my gut feeling while working in the DAW to create something that felt both meaningful and authentic.

The Brain Prize – The world’s largest prize for outstanding contributions to neuroscience.

Mammut – Clothing Brand.

Float – Fictional sensory deprivation tank company.

Fedex – Radio commercial for delivery.

1st-Year Summer Exam – The exam combined three modules: Media Production, Sound in Marketing Communication, and Mix, Mastering & Synthesis.

The objective was to create a complete sound identity for Dansk Blindesamfund, including multiple sound products such as sonic logos, brand music, navigation sounds, and a podcast teaser. The project also included a written assignment and an oral presentation to demonstrate both creative and theoretical understanding.

Dansk Blindesamfund is a Danish organization that supports blind and visually impaired people. They work to improve living conditions, create community through activities and courses, and raise awareness to gain political and financial support.
